Who is Beasha?

Beasha was founded by myself, Beatrice: a designer and dreamer based in the South West of England. It began from my love of everyday fantasy and my deep appreciation for handmade clothing, a practice that stretches back thousands of years. Beasha is the result of years of adoration, commitment, and curiosity. A celebration of fashion, ethical production, and the idea that fashion as an extension of our identities - I hope you love it here!

How does the Pre-order work?

You may have noticed that many of our piece are available for 'pre-order', sometimes known as 'made-to-order'. This means that your garment only goes into production when an order is placed. This means no wasted stock and it gives us a change to gauge just how popular a piece will be before committing to have it as part of our 'Ready To Ship' range.

All pre-order items are made in house in our small studio in the heart of Bristol. Bestsellers and Ready To Ship pieces are made by a small team of seamstresses down in Devon. 

Pre-ordered pieces take anywhere from 1 - 4 weeks, though this will depend on how busy we are and the complexity of the piece - Please see our banner and individual products for the exact timings!

Is Beasha Sustainable?

No brand can be completely sustainable but we are always striving to be the best we can be. Please check out the 'Ethos and Sustainability' page for all the details and let me know if you have any questions, We're all about transparency here.

 

How long will my order take?

Pre-order pieces are all handmade in house and can take up to 4 weeks to be made - this is often much faster! This does not include shipping time which you can find on my Shipping and Returns page. If you need your item for a certain event, just drop me an email and I can do my best to accomodate.

Ready to ship pieces are already made and will ship within 3 working days.

Can you do custom requests?

Yes I can make any Beasha design in one of my other fabrics, just send me a message at hello@beashastudios.com to discuss. I can also alter the design to your liking, for example the hem length or sleeve length. 

If you would like me to make one of my designs in a different fabric or one that you already have (for example up-cycled from an old dress of yours) then I will be more than happy to discuss through email.

Please note that for custom requests, extra charges will apply.

How do I measure myself?

For custom measurements please see my How To Measure Guide or don't hesitate to drop me a message if you need extra advice.

What size do I need? Do I have to give measurements?

Please refer to the size guide to see which size you'll be. If you are outside or in between sizes then please leave your measurements (bust, waist, hips) in the notes box on the checkout page.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes, Beasha ships worldwide and you can see rates and delivery times on my Shipping and Returns page. Please note that if you are not in the UK, you may have to pay a customs fee or local taxes that are out of my control and the responsibility of the customer to pay. For more info and to check out rates, check out this website.

Do you do Plus Sized?

Yes! Beasha goes up to a generic size 3XL which is a UK 18-20. As a made to order brand I can accomodate any shape and size - just get in touch if you have specific requests or are outside/in between the size range or simply leave your measurements in your notes at checkout.

 

How do I care for my Beasha pieces?

Check your care label but as a general rule - all cotton and organic cotton garments can be machine washed on a low setting, dried flat and are able to be steam ironed. Everything else including mesh, satin, taffeta and tulle must be hand washed, dried flat and not ironed.

No item should ever be tumble dried or bleached.

Do you accept returns?

If you bought a standard size piece, I can offer a refunds or exchange for another piece/store credit if you let me know within 14 days. I cannot offer returns on custom pieces or altered sizes, however I will do anything I can to make sure you love your new piece so if you're in anyway dissatisfied, drop me an email within a week and I can offer further alterations or discuss more options with you. 

All one-offs, sample sale and sale items are non-returnable.

All items are returned at your own cost through a Tracked service and must be in perfect unworn condition.
